Artisan Attic opens October 3
Our upper floor opens to local artists, crafters and other artisans October 3. If you would like a booth, reach out ASAP. We have some expansion room and we can keep a waiting list in case we have turnover.
If you're in the mood to shop, come see us anytime from October 3 on!
Fantasy Gaming Coming Soon
We have a little work to do on our basement, but we will soon open it to fantasy role-playing games. You can bring your existing gaming group or come solo and join a group. Bring whatever games you play or learn new ones. Basement open to age 18+, other gaming areas open to families but all children must have an adult with them.

By joining, you'll help the bookstore stay alive, and we'll help you get some terrific deals. The Puppy Level is free. Buy ten new books, get a $15 voucher to spend on your next visit. You'll also get a cute Booster Sticker. The JJ Level is $50 annually. You'll get all the Puppy benefits, access to members only events, an adorable beagle mug and 5% off everything you buy. The Buddy Level is $100 annually and gets you the sticker and mug plus a "Home of Buddy the Bookstore" t-shirt. You'll also get access to the members only events and a whopping 8% off what you buy.
Adopt a bookcase
We have a wonderful artisan who will create built in bookcases for our main floor, but we need to raise money for the materials. If you adopt a bookcase or a slatboard section, your name (or the name of someone you would like to honor) will go on a plaque on the section you adopt.
$150 for a bookcase
$75 for a slatwall section
